Which is a better processor? quad core or tri core? - which is better tri or monopods

Whether or not that would have a better performance and speed? Tri-core or quad core?

    Tri-Core is not.
    Obviously quad anyway not the heart. Do the math!

    I've never heard of Tri-Core. There are dual-core and quad-core. Quad-core may be faster than a dual-core triple-core make hypothetical or real, but often not much difference if you run programs that specifically take advantage of the extra cores.

    Added: Gammraze, thank you for pointing out the triple-core AMD processors. What I have on the speed difference is still valid. AMD to be different :-)

    Games run better with a core, a special chip as Core Duo chips are designed and quad-core processors, the application is divided so that a larger chip, the same work as a want to do single-core chip 1G can handle.
    In computers, are all areas are equal, a triple-core would be impossible to do.
