Atypical Squamous Cells Pap Smear Can Someone Explain My Pap Smear Test Results Showing Atypical Squamous Cells Present...?

Can someone explain my Pap Smear Test results showing atypical squamous cells present...? - atypical squamous cells pap smear

I wonder if anyone can help me ...
My midwife had me 4 weeks ago Pap That was 6 weeks after I had my baby.
The results showed that both are "atypical squamous cells. A high degree of squamous intraepithelial lesion can not be excluded (ASC-H)."
Can someone explain what this means and what to expect and it can do something out of nothing or something with the birth?
Thanks for serious answers.

  1. This means that altered cells of the cervix. If the diagnosis of lesions that often result in a pre-cancer. However, you should keep an eye on him. There can be only a slight infection and identify themselves. I had the same result if you checked a month later, when my doctor to be retested.

Your doctor may want to have a colposcopy and biopsy are performed. It does not hurt and can have a real answer to cancer, nothing to give.
