Using a Logitech Webcam on Mac Problems...? - skype not detecting webcam

Ok, I try the Logitech QuickCam Communicate STX on my Mac Mini to use.

Maccam I installed the drivers, the new version. (0.9.1)
The webcam is detected in Skype and Photo Booth, but not in iChat, I use it. So when I talk to someone using Skype for some time with the microphone sound is cut for them and get static, and I have to Mess With My microphone settings to get back to work.

Is there a way to solve these problems? Should I try an earlier version of Maccam or what?
